Sri Navadvipa Dhama is beautifully situated on the banks of the Ganges. There are nine islands (Nava means nine, dvipa means island). Every island is separated by a tributary of the river Ganges. On each of these islands, Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and His associates performed Their transcendental pastimes.
